Coffee and Bang Energy Drink are caffeinated beverages that give their users a significant energy boost along with many nutrients and vitamins.
Bang Energy Drink contains more caffeine and is more energetic than coffee. A 16 fl oz can of Bang includes 300mg of caffeine, while an average cup of coffee contains 95mg of caffeine.
On the other hand, Bang also contains Vitamin B and C, not included in coffee. However, coffee contains Calcium and Potassium that aren’t included in Bang.
Although both are fantastic, I love Bang Energy Drink more as it has an incredible impact compared to coffee. However, if you want a detailed summary of both Bang and Coffee, I suggest continuing reading!

Coffee, on the other hand, contains much less caffeine than Bang. Most people add creamers and sugar to their coffee and increase its calorie content. However, black coffee is the healthiest version of coffee.
However, its caffeine content is something that you need to take care of. If your body can’t handle this much caffeine, I recommend you switch to coffee.
Coffee
Coffee is mainly included in people’s morning breakfast because of its all-natural ingredients. Its caffeine content is 95mg, typically lower than many other energy drinks. However, in my opinion, this amount is enough to keep you energized for a few hours.
Consuming coffee also has many benefits, such as memory retention, improved brain performance, and reduced risk of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
Bang
Taking a bang energy drink will not be a problem if you’re a daily caffeine consumer. Only one can of bang keeps you active for the whole day as it consists of solid ingredients. It has Super Creatine, 300mg caffeine, zero sugar, CoQ10, and is calorie-free.

Bang vs. Coffee
If you want a high dose of caffeine, you should take Bang instead of Coffee. However, if you’re concerned about your health, I would recommend taking coffee.
Although consumption of caffeine is safe only if consumed in moderation. It’s better for people who do intense workouts.
Energy Drink is designed to improve physical performance. However, coffee’s primary focus is enhancing your cognition and giving you an energy boost.
Let’s summarize both of them and see which gives more benefits.
Calories of Bang Energy Drink and Coffee
Bang Energy Drink is calorie-free. However, the amount of calories in coffee depends upon the type of coffee and the amount of creamer and sugar added to it.
For more detailed information, the following table shows the calorie content of different types of coffee:
Drinks | Calories (8 oz) |
Black Coffee | 2 |
Espresso | 20 |
Cold Press (nitro cold brew) | 2 |
Brewed coffee from flavored beans | 2 |
Coffee with 1 tbsp (15ml) of french vanilla creamer | 32 |
Coffee with 1 tbsp (15ml) of skim milk | 7 |
Caffeine Content of Bang Energy Drink and Coffee
Both of them contain caffeine, but Bang has much more caffeine than a cup of coffee.
A 16 fl. oz can of Bang energy drink contains 300 mg of caffeine. Caffeine is the reason why this energy drink is one of the most potent drinks. In my perspective, consuming 300 mg of caffeine is a lot to take in.
You can easily take this refreshing drink if your body has caffeine tolerance. But if you’re caffeine sensitive, then Bang may be harmful to your health.
My daily caffeine limit is 200mg, so I would prefer to drink half a can of bang in a day. If your caffeine intake is high (300-400), you can go with this drink.
Pros of Bang Energy Drink and Coffee
Let’s take a look at the pros of both Coffee and Bang Energy Drink:
If you want a reliable and clean energy source, coffee will win. And here are some of my reasons why coffee is better:
- Coffee isn’t expensive. Consumers can enjoy energy bursts without spending much.
- It helps in burning calories as well as has no calories.
- It is vegan friendly if sugar and cream are not added to it.
- No harmful ingredients are added to coffee. The chemicals that coffee contains are tannin, carbohydrates, proteins, caffeine, and fixed oil.

- If you have any pre-existing health conditions, drinking Bang will be dangerous to your health due to its caffeine content.
On the other hand, coffee is much less dangerous than Bang, which needs to be consumed in moderation. Some other drawbacks of both of them are:
- Not to be consumed with other pre-workout supplements and caffeinated energy drinks.
- Not advisable for people below 18 years old.
Alternatives
C4
C4 energy drink is formulated for those who want an instant energy gush to enhance their performance and physical activity. It has 150mg of caffeine, which will be sufficient to provide an energy boost. It’s sugar-free, calorie-free, and also has no artificial sweeteners.
G Fuel
G Fuel energy drink contains only 15 calories and is sugar-free. G Fuel is a powdered energy drink that will provide healthy energy without any sugar or caffeine crashes. Like Bang, G Fuel also includes numerous vitamins that can benefit your health.
Monster
Monster comprises 160mg of caffeine, which is far less than Bang and I think is adequate to give you energy without any side effects. It contains 210 calories and 52g of sugar. Its calorie content is acceptable, but the sugar content is pretty high, so if you avoid sugar from your diet, this energy drink won’t be suitable for you.
Final Thoughts
Bang Energy Drink contains 300 mg of caffeine, and coffee contains only 96 mg of caffeine in a single cup. The higher the amount of caffeine, the higher chances of having health problems. So, a cup of coffee looks safer as compared to Bang.
However, if you see its other ingredients and nutritional information, Bang is much better than coffee. So I would suggest Bang Energy Drink if you need an instant energy burst. But if you have any pre-existing health conditions, then coffee would be the best choice.
